It is this time of the year again- the most important date
in the racing calendar, the Royal Ascot. One thing about this event that breaks
the headlines is fashion, and this year was so exception.

Some looks at the Royal Ascot |
With guests as prestigious as the Queen herself, there is no
surprise that all the guests must follow a stringent dress code. This includes
the forbidding of exposed midriff, the rule of dress/tops having a strap of at
least one inch, and the sure encouragement of wearing a hat.

Ash Tray Hat |
Oh the hats! Despite the quirky one here or there, the
majority of the guests wore really classic pieces.

The Princesses looking elegant at the Ascot |
Princess Eugenie was spotted in a matching beige coat and trench
coat with nude heels and a studded clutch. Her fascinator featured a large rose
complete with black detailing. Whereas her sister Princess Beatrice wore a
textured green dress and hat, the colour looked stunning on her.

The Queen |
Her Majesty wore a crisp blue coat by Stewart Parvin, with a
similar toned garment underneath that
matched the floral headpiece.

Some of Noel Stewart's hats |
One designer that really caught my eye was Noel Stewart. His
inspiration from modern art and architecture really shines through his designs.
Noel’s works show extreme skill and the colors chosen together are phenomenal.
